Lattiva Terms of Service

§1. General Provisions
1. These Terms of Service govern the use of the Lattiva web application available at lattiva.ai (hereinafter: "Service") and the Chrome browser extension (hereinafter: "Extension").
2. The Service is owned and operated by Lattiva (hereinafter: "Operator").
3. By using the Service, you accept these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
4. These Terms are made available free of charge at lattiva.ai/terms in a format that allows downloading, saving, and printing.
§2. Definitions
1. Service — the web application available at lattiva.ai.
2. Extension — the Google Chrome browser extension distributed via the Chrome Web Store, enabling real-time text correction.
3. User — a natural person who has created an account in the Service.
4. Account — the User's individual account in the Service, protected by an email address and password.
5. Subscription — a paid plan providing access to extended Service features.
§3. Terms of Use
1. Using the Service requires creating an Account via the registration form.
2. The User agrees to provide truthful information during registration.
3. The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
4. It is prohibited to use the Service in a manner that violates the law, good practices, or the rights of third parties.
5. It is prohibited to undertake actions that may disrupt the Service, including the use of automated scripts that overload the infrastructure.
§4. Browser Extension
1. The Extension requires an active Account in the Service.
2. The Extension analyzes text entered by the User in editable fields on visited websites to provide autocorrection.
3. Text analyzed by the Extension is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
4. The Operator is not responsible for the Extension's compatibility with all websites.
§5. Subscriptions and Payments
1. The Service offers a free plan (with limitations) and paid subscription plans.
2. Plan details and pricing are available at lattiva.ai/pricing.
3. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider (Stripe).
4. Subscriptions renew automatically for the next billing period unless the User cancels before the end of the current period.
5. The User may cancel their subscription at any time from the Account dashboard. Cancellation means no renewal — access to paid features remains active until the end of the paid period.
§6. Liability
1. The Operator makes reasonable efforts to ensure the Service operates correctly and without interruption but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
2. The Operator is not liable for damages resulting from improper use of the Service by the User.
3. Autocorrection is advisory in nature — the Operator does not guarantee the correctness of all correction suggestions.
4. The Operator reserves the right to temporarily limit Service availability for maintenance purposes.
§7. Intellectual Property
1. The Service, Extension, and their components (code, graphics, text, algorithms) are the intellectual property of the Operator.
2. The User does not acquire any intellectual property rights to the Service or Extension beyond the right to use them in accordance with these Terms.
§8. Account Deletion
1. The User may delete their Account at any time from the profile settings.
2. Account deletion is irreversible and results in the permanent removal of all User data, including the dictionary, correction history, and settings.
3. The Operator may delete a User's Account in the event of a gross violation of these Terms, after prior notification to the User's email address.
§9. Changes to the Terms
1. The Operator reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service.
2. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or an in-Service notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
3. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
§10. Final Provisions
1. Matters not regulated by these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Poland.
2. Any disputes arising from the use of the Service shall be resolved by the court having jurisdiction over the Operator's registered office.
3. These Terms take effect on the date of publication at lattiva.ai/terms.
